Eden Water Works Co.

For New Residential Connections:

1. Purchase a share of stock (membership) into Eden Water Works Co. Send in Application for New Service and Proof of secondary water associated with property to Eden Water Works office.

Share of Stock and Connection fee: $22,000.00 (this includes a standard 5/8 meter, additional fee will be assessed if larger meter is needed)

2. Will Serve Letter - Once all of the above has been met a Will serve letter will be approved and issued at the immediate following Board of Directors Meeting. Will serve letters are required to get Building Permit through Weber County. 

 

3. An account will be set up and monthly billing will begin. See below for rate structure.

*$65.00 MINIMUM CHARGE (this is the capital contribution fee that has to be paid regardless of water usage)

FIRST 20,000 GALLONS………………………………$3.25 PER 1,000 GALLONS*

​

NEXT 15,000 GALLONS (20,001 to 35,000)…………...…$3.25 PER 1,000 GALLONS

 

NEXT 15,000 GALLONS (35,001 to 50,000)…………...…$4.00 PER 1,000 GALLONS

NEXT 15,000 GALLONS (50,001 to 65,000)…...…………$5.50 PER 1,000 GALLONS

 

NEXT 100,000 GALLONS (65,001 to 165,000)……………$10.00 PER 1,000 GALLONS

 

OVER 165,000 GALLONS…………………………….…. $20.00 PER 1,000 GALLONS

 

LATE CHARGES……………...……….5% OF BALANCE DUE (MINIMUM $5.00) IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE LAST DAY OF THE MONTH.

 

For Commercial Connections:

1. Buy into the Eden Water Works Co (Membership/Share of Stock), Installation Fee, and Weber Basin Replacement Share. Send in Application for New Service and Proof of secondary water associated with property sent to Eden Water Works.

Share of Commercial Stock/Membership - Call For Pricing (Varies depending on what commercial share is needed commercial 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. You may also see the attached membership rates file under the services tab)

 

2. Will Serve Letter - Once all of the above has been met a Will serve letter will be approved and issued at the immediate following Board of Directors Meeting.

3. An account will be set up and monthly billing will begin. Rate structure varies depending on Commercial Share Purchased (Commercial 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5). Ask for pricing.

Stock Transfers: 

1. Application for Stock Transfer and $25.00 Transfer fee. Previous owner needs to return Original Stock Certificate to Eden Water Works office to authorize the transfer of the stock. Once this information is received the account can be transferred into the new owners name.

New Developments:

1. Please contact the office to have your development added to the agenda of the next Board of Directors meeting for approval. Plans will need to be dropped off at the office prior to the meeting for review by the Directors and Water Operator.
